ABOUT ROBERTO RUDIE

“The road to success is not taken with ease, otherwise, there is little room to become teachable to life’s lessons and ignite change in others”.

Born into a lineage of leadership within his Ghanaian heritage, Roberto Rudie has always set out to do things his own way. Some things in life are not only coincidences but the universe’s way of showing us where to go, the most prominent people in Rudie’s life were his uncles and father.  One Uncle owning and running Ghana’s largest transportation company, King of King’s… Taught him from an early age leadership and people skills were vital life tools for, most importantly how to use each person’s assets to fit their individualism, pushing them to the best they can be and to make them the most money.

Skills that allowed Rudie to make his first million pounds at the tender age of 21, which he lost, thus his first major life lesson taking place.

Growing up in Harlesden, North West London, his studies were an important part of his upbringing, keeping a studious mentality throughout his adolescence and starting his own business in his early 20s.

Like many young people acquainting their first large sum of money, a lavish lifestyle was most desirable but led to the loss of all his finances, due to simply not being ready for it, teaching him business’s first vital lesson; rebirth.

Right now, he is in a growth period, all the experiences and people that have come across Rudie’s expertise have led him to this moment right now.

And what does ‘right now’ look like?

Well, unlike most, Rudie thanks the pandemic for helping him start one of the UK’s fastest and most powerful growing black-run businesses, AIX Capital, a privately-owned hedge fund based in central London.

AIX has invested in over 73 businesses, ranging from tech, manufacturing, media, fashion, and mental health. Rudie is not one to shy away from the journey that has allowed him to stand where he is today and is proudly an ambassador for the mental health organisation Think About Mental Health, inspiring others through his real experiences of depression during the toughest dips on his road. The countless, yet delicate projects under Rudie’s wing demonstrate the exquisite legacy he is looking to leave behind, one of these being the Martin Luther King Initiative, giving power back to young black people across the globe. Also, working in his home continent of Africa, The African Nations Football Association, provides support and empowerment to grassroots areas by helping build infrastructures and supporting aspiring footballers’ families. Aix Capital is also working with the world’s leading filtration system, NKD, providing clean water to schools and villages.

As well as building our home countries up to be the best they can, Rudie also sees the power in having black and ethnic minorities not only follow tech but to lead the way, providing the platform for APEX NFTs – started by Rudie and his partner. Providing a sustainable NFT service, while placing power back into the hand of creatives and leaders.

All of the vital work mentioned above has been the result of around a year’s work, meaning this is just the tip of the ice burg of what Roberto Rudie can do for the future. His legacy is clear as day, proving that you are not what your situation is but what you make it.

“I came from a situation where a lot of young black men are right now, but recently I was in Parliament having a meeting with members of the Shadow Cabinet…”

He wants to show the power of choosing your destiny, “my legacy is, I think like Malcolm X and act like Martin Luther King.”

Roberto Rudie’s latest investment venture, King Capital Ventures (KCV Ltd & KCV Global Ltd), is a distinguished private equity and advisory firm, providing strategic consultancy and private credit solutions to businesses and investors across multiple sectors.
